Without the use of traditional paint, I "paint" using only cut, crushed and powdered compatible glass. I layer these elements on a base piece of glass and fire it in a kiln. When cooled (about 12 hours in the kiln) I layer more glass and fire again. This process is repeated up to 6 times to get the correct depth and texture of the piece.
